Right On Time

Today we took a road trip to visit one of my good friends from High School. As we drove along, Amy called out in a worried voice, "Mommy, look at all those cars up ahead of us. Are we late?"

I assured her that we were right on time.

"Oh good", she said. Then she turned around to peer at all the cars behind us on the highway. "It must be those people that are late".

I hope this isn't insulting, 'cause it's not meant to be, but I have a couple Reader's Digest magazines at home, and this sounds almost like one of those little funny jokes that they have. I love it! Kids say the funniest, and sometimes wisest things. And you write so well El, I'm impressed!
